Got my Maverick hybrid XLT!
Cactus Grey, lux, hard roll top tonneau, tow hitch, and with a moonroof.
I won't bother with pics since we've seen every angle of an XLT! I will put on my initial impressions on the truck.
I found the orange trims to be much more muted than the first time I saw it. I'm kinda glad it's not as bright as I remember it.
The seats are perfect that they are firmer for being cloth and that would seem like it will hold up through the years.
The speakers are great for my usual usage. Even at high volume I don't hear distortion and can clearly hear every word. I envy folks who have a more distinct palate when it comes to audio. I was truly expecting bad outcome on XLT but ended up being truly impress.
Build quality again I don't remember it being solid. The rotary dial has some heft to it and doesn't feel hollow. The steering wheel is well cushioned and the dash has a nice feeling to it.
The back seat for some reason gives the illusion that it's narrower than my Civic. But after sitting behind myself, I find it somehow very roomy! Quite w phenomenon actually!
The dash though it's simple, seems to have some depth to it. I can't put my finger on it but it looks a lot nicer than on the pictures.
The color which I have seen before, somehow truly a sight to look at. Cactus grey gives you the impression that this truck belongs in the wilderness and also a city dweller as well.
The wheels are gorgeous to look at! It looks murky and dull on the pictures but in person, it's very glossy and shiny!
Lastly, my whole experience with the dealership! I'm happy to report that my dealer not only honored the price protection Ford has in place but also the rates that were offered last year! Very smooth process from the beginning without having to set foot in their facility. Communications even with just email were top notch up to the point of delivery.
If you are in So Cal near Pasadena, Arcadia, SGV, Duarte area, give Advantage Ford a try. No pressure, no add ons or mark ups, very thorough process and walkthrough! Very professional!
Shout out to Zareh (general manager) and Damariz (sales rep). Finance guy, meh not too much! Lol!
Thank you everyone for such an experience! It's so different to be on the other side. The feeling of content but on a look out for a new purpose.
