I had the exact same problem. I got the some WD40 White Lithium Grease spray from home depot. Take the nozzel and stick it inside where the door check sits on the door side. And spray, work the door back and fourth. Then let it sit for some time and the noise will be gone

Looks and the way it reads you can use the original fobs (lock/unlock). Do you need to bring it the stealership to program.

I like the remote start on the fob. I my opinion its sometimes cumbersome to deal with the app especially if you don’t have service
