  1. Bottom Down-pipe bolt rounded off while attempting to install SW 3”down pipe

There is no way to get anything in there besides a standard wrench. A socket will fit. Welding any thing to the nut would be nightmare even then there’s no turning the nut free because the firewall is in the way. You would have to keep re welding it every 1/4 turn lol
  2. Bottom Down-pipe bolt rounded off while attempting to install SW 3”down pipe

Top bolts are the easy ones. You can get both of the bolts out from the top with long extensions. You have to shove your arm up under the engine between the turbo and cat for the bottom bolt
  3. Bottom Down-pipe bolt rounded off while attempting to install SW 3”down pipe

i started this on Saturday after driving around for about an hour to get the exhaust hot. I also took a torch to the bolts. The top two came out relatively easy with a 1/2 in breaker bar with 16mm socket. The lower bolt cannot be taken out as easy. Granted I blame my garbage freight 16mm wrench...
  4. Bottom Down-pipe bolt rounded off while attempting to install SW 3”down pipe

Here’s a first probably . Got my down pipe stuck on turbo on my 22 ford XL . Rounded off the bottom nut and stud. No way to get anything on it with out pulling PTU. Tried pulling turbo but two oil line bolts on the bottom pick up turbo lines are inaccessible because of PTU. Top it off my garbage...
  5. Broke it (radiator cracked)

A Ford tech from my mechanic alliance group on Fb sent me the factory repair document. It’s actually pretty easy. They manual said to remove the core support. It definitely made it easier but I’m sure you could do it with out removing it. If you’re really careful. The only annoying parts is that...
  6. Broke it (radiator cracked)

lol yes it actually did. Got a replacement no problem. Was a fairly easy install. The replacement is twice the size as the stock. So that’s a plus. I would like a better intercooler. What’s weird is I wanted to just go ahead and install the tow package, with the upgraded fan and everything, but...
  7. Broke it (radiator cracked)

So I done broke her. Was off roading and hit something. Further inspection showed coolant run out of radiator. Was able to drive off had plenty of water to fill her hip. Never over heated. Problem is I’ve disassembled as far as I could go. Now I’m trying to figure out how radiator separates from...
  8. What is the correct wire to splice into for remote in audio harness?

yeah so idk. there is a white and blue wire, which is historically for remote wires. but being ford and not even seeing it labeled on the 6 speaker diagram Im not going to mess with it.
  9. What is the correct wire to splice into for remote in audio harness?

appreciate the diagrams, dont see any accessory power, remote or any of the sort labeled =(. only battery hot. Im assuming the "HS" can + (Violet/grey) is the ticket, but id rather be safe and sorry and fuse tap the remote. really appreciate the diagrams though. should help others in the...

  13. What is the correct wire to splice into for remote in audio harness?

i'm going to do the rear seat delete. Im putting race seats in so the back seat has to go at some point for the harnesses. the shallow sub will fit behind the back seat, but you have to cut out some of the trim and other little bits to get the seat to close fully.
  14. What is the correct wire to splice into for remote in audio harness?

Hey all. this weekend i put a 12" fosgate shallow sub in with boss 1100 amp. everything works alright. ( Stock speakers need to go at some point) anyway, i spliced the remote from the amp into the red and white hot wire on the radio harness. assuming it was Ignition hot, but its actually a...
