GM just renewed the Avalanche trademark. I believe they will be downsizing it and and basing it on the Blazer platform. A much better segment comparison.

for that money, you can go to tirerack and get 4 new rims, tires, and tpms sensors assembled and ready to bolt on. Just keep a take off as your spare.

yeah, it's pretty for pretty sake, not real useable as a truck, not a comfortable place to live, and way too heavy for any acceptable performance. the later LS2 was better, but its a case were the design, engineer and finance teams just couldn't agree.
I went tow package, Doubling its capacity and the trailer brake controller was a big selling point. the FX4 package looks cool, but if I was going to do off roading the Maverick wouldn't be my pick in any guise.
