  1. Maverick Van prototype shown to Ford dealers (for 2025?)

Quick little stab at it while I'm on a phone call...I don't hate it.
  2. Front impact sensors wiring question.

I swear to God 90% of the time I can't nail anything with a simple search. Between the workshop manual not being user friendly (I know, I know it's not intended for us plebs but still) and the Ford parts catalogue not having images for everything or even worse those horrendous line drawings...
  3. Front impact sensors wiring question.

Got that one still attached to the bumper cover. I'm going to have to go to the dealership on Monday and see if they can give me some clarity on the missing piece. I can't figure out what the part number is. I can't find it on a search but looking at the diagram I'm wondering if its the...
  4. Front impact sensors wiring question.

It's in the workshop manual. I just hadn't got that far into digging before Darnon found it! :)
  5. Front impact sensors wiring question.

Thanks Darnon! Had the plugs tucked away on the passenger side and missed them. Now just have to figure out the part number for that piece of wiring.
  6. Front impact sensors wiring question.

The front impact air bag sensors and the motor that controls the active grille shutters are what the mystery is. No acc on this one.
  7. Front impact sensors wiring question.

What's happening fellas, I'm in the middle of rebuilding a salvage auction mav right now and could use an assist. The front impact sensors in the top of the rad support that flank the hood latch are missing the wiring along with the active grill shutter motor wiring. I'm assuming it's all one...
  8. Resale Value insane?

Vroom offered me $22k last week and Carvana was $29k. 2023 xlt hybrid with cp360 and lux with 250 miles....yeah, thanks but no thanks.
  9. October 2021 order showed up out of the blue with a good omen.

I got the spray in actually. It seems pretty good. My only gripe is the bottom of the tailgate not being covered. That's going to end up a scratch magnet but nothing a little diy can't overcome. For now that's the excuse not to move anything for anyone at least!
  10. October 2021 order showed up out of the blue with a good omen.

Middle of last year I had checked in with ford just to make sure the order was placed. I had been watching Tim's videos when the rollover was happening and basically resigned myself to just getting a wrecked one at the auction. I was on month number three of watching people over spend up to...
  11. October 2021 order showed up out of the blue with a good omen.

Its a 2023 but one of the guys at the dealership was adamant that it was a 22. 🤷‍♂️
  12. October 2021 order showed up out of the blue with a good omen.

Well my xlt hybrid, cop360, lux pack I ordered in October 2021 showed up yesterday. Last bit of info I had was an email 4 months ago with the Vin and a December build date. I just assumed I wasn't going to see it as I missed the reorder window and hadnt heard anything at all. But low and...
  13. Fun summer classic cars?

Hopefully I'll be having fun this summer. Lol
  14. Fords you have loved thread...

My dad's 1969 mustang with the 2018 donor car. :)
  15. Owners receiving email that their Maverick Has Been Built!

Snow would explain how they kept the costs down!
  16. I can't be the only one that thinks the trim should be painted right?

Agreed on the darker colors. For sure it's not an issue.
  17. I can't be the only one that thinks the trim should be painted right?

The back bumper is the part that keeps tripping me up. To me it's that back corner is too bulky in general. Maybe splitting the difference like this would have helped while still protecting from the scratches down low. like fishinmagicin said. Just a thought.
