I drove from SC to NC and back using adaptive cruise the whole way and was kinda disappointed. I still got better than you did though. And I was going 80ish the whole way. I averaged 32.9 highway.
I had a 50” Yakima kit from my suv to use on the maverick but 50” was way too small. Wouldn’t even reach to the sides completely, you’ll definitely need a 60”.
Looks good! I'm looking at buying the same thing to haul my paddleboard. I was curious about road noise being that I would need to probably get a 20" as well. Let me know if its bad above 60. And did you choose the aluminum colored top bars or can you request those to be black as well? Thanks!
I have an 11 foot paddleboard as well and I was just planning on getting the Yakima baseline roof rack to carry mine. I have Yakima timberline rack on my SUV now and it works just fine, I don’t see why I can’t do the same for the Maverick.
I actually read an article recently saying white and silver have the lowest resale value. Rare colors like this have the highest resale value. I’ve always going with a safer color is easier to sell, but it looks like it’s the opposite. Obviously purple and weird colors like that weren’t good...
