What size fairing is that? I haven’t put my racks on but I have the 46” fairing still in box which I think was the next size up (I swear I measured the space like 15 times) so now I’m curious if I goofed.

Yep it’s a 46” so you chose wisely!

The A51 color looks great in the picture! Wouldn't you get the same outcome without the bed extender by using the alternate position of the tailgate? I've started using the Body Glove inflatable boards because I hated spending so much time fiddling with the roof rack and part of me was always afraid it would rip the rack off and blow into someone's windshield on the PCH.

I thought about that too, how long is your board?

The board is 10’8”. The previous poster has a good point about putting the tailgate in the half open position. I had a tailgate extender on my 05 F150 and it has become a habit.
