Hey all.... I thought I would snap a pic when she is fresh(ish) out of the shower. I wanted to show off my new AWD graphic that I had JK Sign on Etsy make for me. I went with a little bit of a retro stripe theme and also had the fronts tinted.
Yeah, this sucks. I have some XLT wheels that I just put on my '25. This is the 4th Maverick they have been on and now I get the error message. When I pull into my garage next to the factory steel wheels, it resets, but then the next day on my commute I get the error again.
I'm 6'4", 14 shoe, and about 265lbs. I have the seat all the way back. I am pretty wide in the shoulders, so I do have an issue with my left arm and shoulder being pressed against the pillar. This is because the seat is all the way back, if it were about 4" more forward, my arm would clear the...
I like the soft roll up covers simply because they roll up out of the way without interfering with the bed space. I also don't need the added security of a hard cover. I bought a cheap $180 from Amazon and have used it for over two years without issue.
I love the EG, but ordered desert sand because it looks cleaner longer, which is important here in Michigan where we have about 5 months of grime-covered roads. Cactus gray was also good for not showing dirt.
I made up 10 or 12 sets of these for Mavericks and tried them on 3 different trucks. I did find slight variances and on the production models and I abandoned the countersink screws because of this and went with a slotted hole and shallow head cap screws. A countersunk hole and matching screw...
Yes, I have done this. You need to remove the side panels. I put the holes in before I installed it. I can’t remember, but some of them are marked on the other side. I used a spade drill and drilled a 1” hole which was covered when the track was installed.
I chose desert sand because that color to me is very truck-like. I love the eruption green, but desert sand will hide the dirt much better if I neglect to wash it for a couple weeks (or months). :)
This will be my fourth Maverick hybrid, I have had an area 51, two cactus gray, and now the desert...
Thanks, Tim. So, if I am understanding this correctly, the quality hold was for the initial trucks and production henceforth is cleared to ship without the hold?
If you hadn't done that, I would not have had the chance to see your terrain truck with the fender flares and confirm for me that I want them when my 2025 in desert sand arrives. So, thank you. :) But seriously, that sucks and I'm sorry that you had that experience and had to fork over all the...
I can’t remember the exact length, but they covered the whole length of the factory mounting points, including removing the forward factory cleats. I think there are companies making similar kits now. Mac tie downs comes to mind.
