My 2010 Ranger has been unbelievably reliable since new. Before our now semi-retired life was my daily commuter in the NYC metro area for 10 years. Only repairs in these 13 years; a new battery, tires and a set of brakes. Even has original clutch. Ford has been OK with me.

Motor Trend is actually going quarterly. I'll add Autoweek and monthly issues of Road & Track to much lamented car magazines. I'll be canceling Motor Trend.

Was described as a "wimpy company", not specified as a truck company. Can't imagine a lot of offroading in a unibody Ridgeline, Maverick, or Santa Cruz. Not to take anything from Ford, I've previously owned and still have a Ford.
