I personally had bad experiences with my budget trifold aluminum cover. Have it on F150 right now. Prefer TRI soft Gator on maverick. The positives of hard covers are obvious but here are my negatives:

The hybrid is wonderful! You will love it. Does make all kinds of funny noises but I guess that's how hybrids are?
Power is OK in normal and eco mode for commuting. Sport mode is truly impressive for 191HP. Engine is surprisingly smooth when reved out. Hang in there. It will be worth it!
Coasting without any acceleration then yes. But as soon as you step on the gas FWD with more weight (assuming front engine Maverick) over the drive wheel will have more normal force and thus traction than RWD. AWD will of course have most traction with similar variables. Differences will be much...
