I am 82 and had an '82 El Camino. The Maverick is like that machine, but what's not to like. Great gas mileage, truck bed, drives and rides great , sharp looking and runs like a muscle car.
Over the last 5 fillups my 2022 XLT FX4 averages 24.8 overall on the milage indicator with about 70% city driving. Very happy. It drives and rides like a car, gets great gas milage, has a truck bed , looks sharp and runs like a muscle car. What's not to like?
My Ford dealer just replaced the factory battery in my 2022 Maverick XLT FX4 under a recall for 12 volt batteries that suddenly open up and lose power. I have never had any problems with losing battery or engine power. I always turn off the start/stop feature designed by a total idiot whose goal...
I bought a $125 version of a soft tri-fold tonneau cover off of e-Bay and am very happy with it. Easy to install, fits great and no water leaks. Easy to fold when needed and looks great.
I bought the $20.58 version from eBay. Took 10 minutes or less to install, nothing loose yet. Works great and I couldn't be more pleased. I had a damped open for 7 years before I got the Maverick and had the bruises to show I was not remembering to hold the tailgate going down. If the wing nut...
I bought my 2022 XLT FX4 in April of 25. Outside it looked like new and also ran and drove like new but the inside of the pickup bed was skinned and marked up really nasty looking. I installed a tonneau cover and bed pad on it and ordered a tailgate pad so I didn't have to look at it until I...
I think Maverick was the right choice. It is mentally attached to Top Gun and great speed and agility. When dinosaurs roamed the earth I had a friend with a Ranchero that I drove a lot and later owned an El Camino. Both were great vehicles and I would love to have either one in my driveway now...
I mounted mine where the dimples in the front center are. There is no way I would block airflow to the radiator unless you like overheating vehicles. The hardware with my mount sucked too. I had to use .ore substantial mounts.
In understandable terms, the reason that many software applications are so large is that it is a common practice to not erase a bad subroutine that does not work right, but just add a skip to skip over it and maybe finally erase it when software is released. Oftentimes they write software to...
A soft close tailgate from the factory. I added an aftermarket one and it surely has saved a lot of bruises on my arms. I had the soft close since 2007 so I could not get used to the tailgate banging down on my arm.
I removed the cowl cover and found that the fresh air vent was not totally snapped in place. The bottom on the outside of the vent had been not snapped so long that the vent was slightly bowed and hard to get totally in place. My windshield had been replaced before I bought the vehicle so I do...
I could not find a video with camerawork that did not make me seasick until I found this one. Here is the culprit of the cowl water leaks on the passenger side. It is raining here for several days but I will open the cowl and check the cover for the cabin filter fresh air intake. I may put...
