Hi, I'm curious what you got for MPG on this trip, and what the weight of the camper was as you were pulling it around? Shopping around for a camper later this year and any info would be helpful!
I put the Truxedo LoPro on this week and am very happy with it so far. It is just the right length, the rubber lip on the back fits just over the top of the tailgate, easy to install, looks good, and while it flaps a bit at speed I don't notice any extra noise driving down the road. Have yet...
I've been waiting to pick up my Maverick so I could snap a side-by-side with this Subaru Brat in my neighborhood, and caught a quick one on my way to work earlier this week, the day after taking delivery! Hope to get there again to snap a few more from different angles, but here's the one for now!
Picked up my XL 2.0 AWD from Schomp Ford earlier this week! Had a great experience with that dealership, would recommend anyone in the Denver area thinking about ordering to go with them.
I've been thinking about a Softopper - emailed them this week and they don't have a Maverick one yet. But they make an extension to go over the tailgate as a tent, combined with the topper that's 6'+ of bed space and likely under or close to $1000 for the topper and the tent...
In this market especially! Three-year-old Rangers with 4x4 here in the Denver area are going for $30k+. For what I'm spending on my Mav I could get a 2015 F150 with 120,000 miles on it.... no thanks.
Thanks for posting this! One of the main reasons I ordered a Maverick is because I wanted an efficient truck that could still tow a decent-size camper, and your post makes me think I made a good choice. Now if only a 6'5" person like me could stand up in a Scamp!
Just looks like it's wrinkled right out of the package + the lighting makes it look worse. I'd be interested to know how it holds up, I'll be in the market for one of these soon!
My build has been scheduled for the week of 11/22 since I got my first confirmation - just checked the tracker now when I read your post and mine says in production too! XL, Area 51, AWD, Eco, 4k towing package, no other options. No window sticker yet though....
I waited until I got my build date before listing my older F250, and had it sold within a week for $1000 more than I paid for it. Talked it over with my girlfriend first, we have her car and I got an e-bike as well. We're able to do the one-car household thing for a bit, and in the meantime...
Thanks for this! I am 6'5" and ordered last month without seeing or sitting in one - leg- and headroom was my only concern and now I don't feel so concerned.
I asked my dealer rep, who told me how many allocations and orders they have. My understanding is that 'allocations' is how many builds Ford gives them in a particular time frame, can't remember if it's weekly or monthly.
I'm very surprised to say that I just got my scheduling email - I ordered only 10 days ago, XL in Area 51 w/ 2.0, AWD, 4k tow package and nothing else. Scheduled for week of Nov 22!
