Thanks for the reality check. I have the suspicion that my service tech screwed up and didn't put me on the schedule so now they're just trying to squeeze it in between appointments.

Curious how long the dealer had you're vehicle to replace this part? I'm going on 4 days and was just told it wont be ready until next week. Part was in before I dropped it off. Not complaining - they gave me a loaner so it's not impacting my life but was curious if this is par for the course...

Steel 80s. ST 100s would work but your fatties might be a little too large in diameter. It's worth a shot though as you'll see I have my lion fish gun between them as a spacer.

Can you provide specs for the cage nuts and bolts? This sounds prudent.

Just getting on here to agree. I walk away and leave vehicles unlocked all the time because my previous mazda of 10 years had the auto lock feature. In fact the Ford salesman commented about what a convenient feature it was when I traded it in.
