Only problem I have with Sirius is the quality sucks. In my previous car I just streamed it via the app in CarPlay which sounded so much better. But it is nice to have for general listening.
Yeah they are scummy. Trial ran out. Waited for the CALL, signed up on a promo, then they KEPT...
Would need to be more specific void which warranty. For the factory headunit yeah. But it shouldnt void powertrain, etc.
In the dealships eyes doing your own oil change could "void the warranty"
Psst. Bluetooth, USB, CarPlay, Android Auto all skip.
iPhone SE 3rd Gen, iPhone 14, iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Galaxy S25 Ultra, Moto Edge 2024, etc. All SKIP What would be the odds it being a phone issue and EVERY phone does it and only does it in the truck lol.
Has anyone...
I manage my parents account and always stream it through carplay even in my previous car. So it costs me nothing thankfully. XM keeps spamming my phone calling I guess trying to get me a subscription as my free months is about to expire. And yeah it 100% sounds better streamed, but having XM...
S25 Ultra, Moto Edge 2022, Pixel 9 Pro XL all do the same thing on stock settings.. Its not auto accepting pair requests, Wired Android Auto is whats doing it.
Its the same with Wireless Android auto, it connects via bluetooth at first and then will connect to its WiFi automatically.
Doesn't work. The phone in question was never even paired to the truck with bluetooth in the first place. Deleting it and reconnecting it, it auto pairs with the truck again.
So thought about switching to AA instead of carplay (I have a dedicated phone for it) And noticed it stays connected to bluetooth, which I read is normal for AA and its supposed to just be used for calls..
But In the App PowerAmp if I look at audio output it shows:
Bluetooth: 16Bit CODEC SBC...
Yeah plugged directly into the factory sub harness. Kept the factory sub in but its disconnected.
Now trying to decide if the Factory replacement PowerBass front doors is worth getting.
Not as clean as I'm used to, but do need to tweak the gain abit, I'm guessing the B&O amp outputs pretty loud to the fractory sub, Barely have the gain on and it hits.
Installed behind the passenger seat. Just need to find something to wrap/hide the bit of wires sticking out the side. Back seats RARELY ever gets used except storage when traveling, so not a big deal to me.
Will post an update once I get to my destination. Granted just under 500 miles put on it so far. Only thing I could think of is maybe the ground spot. Not sure what the existing ground goes to thats there.
Was a bit of a nervous moment when it happened. Havent installed an amp/sub in 10 years...
Finally got around to installing the Rockford Fosgate P300-10. Used Fuse 3 for rem. Had to have my dad help since I'm a bit handicap (right wrist surgery) Anyway turned it up for a few seconds to see it worked great backed out of the garage and didnt even have it turned up much and the radio...
