Happy to see this was right about what I was figuring for a trip I'll be taking in a couple of weeks from Michigan to several National Parks in the southwest and back. I also have the hybrid and have been loving it so far after 5 months and 8000+ miles of driving.
Were you camping? Hotels? Mix...
Love to hear it. I'll be taking a 4,000 mile trip with my Hybrid in late October with a bed full of camping gear. I'm sure I'll be just as thankful for the lane centering and ACC. Great write up.
So late reply, but I just measured. I was surprised to see, when flipped up against the back window, it's about 7.5-8 inches into the bed, depending on where you end the measurement.
I got my Mav Saturday and installed the Backflip MX4 folding hard cover and I love it so far. My thoughts on folding vs. rolling was the fact that the vast majority of the time, I won't need full bed access, let alone need to drive with all the panels folded up. I, too, wanted the little extra...
Great review and great to hear. My Hybrid Mav should be delivered in a couple of weeks and I'm planning an out and back trip to southern Utah from Michigan in October. Looks like I should be in good shape!

Looks like I have the same build as you, scheduled to be built in a couple weeks. So glad to hear all the good things. I, too, love any extra airflow, so I'm excited about the moonroof and sliding rear window. Can't wait!
My day has come! Email received at 12:06pm, Eastern time.
Ordered August 31, 2021. Scheduled build date April 18, 2022. By the time it comes in, it'll be about 9 months, so I'm thinking I should have a baby-truck shower.

FWD hybrid. I wanted the gas savings and with the exception of my current Cherokee, I've only driven 2WD vehicles through 20 winters in Michigan. The fuel savings was my primary motivation. If I could navigate a Mustang and a Fiesta through even harsh winters, I think I'll do fine in a truck...
