Update:
received a message from the Ford dealer yesterday they have to order a transfer case so who knows how long all that will take. But hopefully that will take care of the problem. Will post back after I receive it back and see what happens.
Update: took the car to the other Ford dealer today drove around with the tech for about 45 minutes till I was able to duplicate the problem. So he saw and felt it he thinks maybe it’s the transfer case. Which never occurred to me but since it’s an AWD that actually would make sense. They have...
I’ve checked that too. I was able to get this video. There is no way this is normal. Besides if it was, it would’ve been doing it the entire time I’ve had the truck and not just started in the last couple months. I took another video today with the step-by-step process, but it’s too large to...
OK, did that put the E brake on before I put it in park then put it in park took my foot off of the brake pulled the key. It did not move at all. But same thing as the yesterday when I went to start it back up and go the second I released the E brake it jerked
OK when I got home, put it in park and then put the E brake on waited about 10 seconds shut the car off pulled the key. I felt it roll back, but it didn’t jerk. So for fun I just took the E brakeo off and the second I did that. It jerked back-and-forth like it has been doing.
when it first...
Hadn’t thought about that when I get home I will check because that’s the one time I can almost guarantee. It’ll always happen. I make two quick left. Turns to get into my driveway. So I will check that out and post back.
I called a Ford dealer about 50 miles away this morning. Explained everything they can’t give me in for a week, but he said it sounds more like a powertrain issue and as long as I really went to the other dealer, I should be in the system and they should cover it no matter what. He also said he...
yes, it’s when I’m in Park, but it will not do it until I shut it off and pull the key. That’s the only time it does it and again it’s not all the time. It’s just really strange.
Yes, I showed that video to the dealership. The first video I got was from inside the car and whereas I felt it was obvious they said that that’s what the car is supposed to do. It’s tilting whichever way the vehicle is pointing. And I’m like so obviously y’all don’t understand what I mean so...
Hi all, I’ve searched the threads and can’t find anything similar to what I’m experiencing. However, sometimes when I make a couple turns it doesn’t matter left or right right before parking I can feel it in my feet. It feels like when a wheel bearing is going bad but when I actually put it in...
