yes - just like a Jake… and it turns the fuel off. The battery says no more.. so they had to slow it somehow other than the wheel brakes. Basically the engine becomes an air compressor.
Yes, That's how it works... When the Electric "Motor" (Gen) can no longer slow the truck down because the battery is full, the gasoline "engine" comes on - without the gasoline! Most hybrid drivers have not experienced this (yet)...
