I ordered my by email from my local dealer, and I gave them no deposit...nothing. So I could cancel at any time if I choose to do so. I have received official Ford communication with the car's build date, VIN, etc., so I know I'm in the queue with my '24.

What did the 2023 have that was dropped on the 2024? Without being too critical of your post, the 2025 speculation is just that - it might have a better pick of options. Fortunately, my 2024 isn't supposed to arrive until late July or early August, and if the 2025 options have been released...

Good point - thanks. I read somewhere that Ford is planning to increase production of the Maverick with the 2025 version. Some think that will stabilize prices, but if there is an increase, might be better to just roll with my 2024.
