    I first got notice of fire under hood in Jan 23--we were told parts unavailable till end of quarter....I'm still being told that after getting 2 more letters most recently Feb 24--parts anticipated end of year per my dealership.

    Does your model have the fire under hood recall? Parts have been on back order for over a year...they don't seem to be in a hurry to fix this problem--truck can turn off while driving or catch fire....

  9. Auto start/stop hasn't been working

    I haven't had this problem but I did experience where it flat out would not unlock. It had been at the shop the day before for a recall. The problem with it not unlocking was --the battery cable. (I have the hybrid).

    Today I stopped for coffee on my way to dealership...in drive, the gear automatically switch to neutral without me touching it. In fact, I hadn't noticed it but did hear some odd noise coming from hood..once I moved foot from brake to accelerator is when I realized it was in neutral.

    I have a 22 Ford Maverick hybrid-in a car wash, in neutral, foot off brake, drive assists off--truck went into reverse on its own -not once but twice...switched from neutral to reverse then neutral...twice..the gear knob showed it was in neutral the whole time.

    The manual says as to temporary neutral mode--the vehicle COULD shift to PARK after 30 minutes.

    No--it didn't. Just tested that and the module says "to stay in neutral when exiting the vehicle select the L button".

    Driving down highway, mine went into neutral after a person in front of me changed lanes suddenly. Several months later, I'm in a car wash, in neutral, when it put itself in reverse twice. No idea how it went from neutral to reverse then back into neutral...no I didn't touch the dial/knob.
