  1. Deep Sleep temporary fix using trickle charger

I actually checked the voltage before I started it and it was 12.1 volts.
  2. Deep Sleep temporary fix using trickle charger

I just got back from a 3 week vacation. My ‘23 XLT hybrid sat outside in extreme cold weather. I got the message on my phone that I was in battery saving mode. When I got home the truck started right up. I took a drive to charge the battery. Apparently the battery saving mode works.
  3. Premature rear brake rotor wear

    A. That's road salt. It snowed here last night and, with a high temp of 25 today I wasn't going to wash it, especially since we are expecting a foot of snow Saturday. It washes right off, not corrosion. B. I'll try later. C. That's on the agenda for tomorrow when I can pull it into my...
  4. Premature rear brake rotor wear

I noticed this morning that both rear brake rotors are wearing, look almost look like metal to metal west but they aren't making noise. I have only 8000 miles on it. Has anyone else experienced premature brake wear?
  5. Radio won't shut off, screen controls do nothing.

They removed the programming they originally did as part of a recall and reinstalled it. I can't give you more detail than that as it is all beyond me.
  6. Radio won't shut off

The search doesn't come up with anything.
  7. Radio won't shut off

Thanks. They fixed it after another hour and a half round trip. I asked if they'd give me one of their $69 Maverick tee-shirts for the inconvenience but they said no.
  8. Radio won't shut off

That's exactly what mine did. I went back to the dealership and they unlocked it. Whatever software they installed earlier as a fix to a recall, they uninstalled then reinstalled. It works now.
  9. Radio won't shut off, screen controls do nothing.

I took my XLT hybrid in for my first service and there was a recall that needed some reprogramming. I left after the service, drove 45 minutes home and now the radio will not turn off and none of the screen controls work. I'm now back at the dealership and they've had the truck for an hour...
  10. Debating maverick haters is exhausting

I had a 2020 Ran before it got totalled by someone who broadsided it while it sat in my driveway. I loved the truck but while deciding what to get next I remembered the 13 mpg the Ram got and the fact that I never towed or hauled anything more than a few cans of kerosene to heat my garage. I'm...
  11. New England Mavericks

'23 XLT Hybrid, Alto Blue. Central Vermont here. I love the truck. Averaging 39 mpg.
  12. Senior citizen Maverick owners thread

I'm 70 and got my '23 XLT in Alta Blue 3 months ago and love it, especially the average 39 mpg. Oh, I also have a 1930 Ford Model A streetrod.
  13. Shift knob mixup

My last truck was a Ram that had the shift knob on the dash, so yes I have.
  14. Wanted, steel wheels.

    The nerve! Lol
  15. Wanted, steel wheels.

    Thanks
  16. Wanted, steel wheels.

I'm looking to buy a set of original steel wheels for my winter tires. If you have or know if a set for sale, just let me know. In New England or close would be good. I'll drive to get them in my 38 mpg XLT. 🙂
