Extremely happy with it. The aluminum surface is durable and reflects heat. Water intrusions are rare and minimal. Easy...
Just got back from a 20 State, 45 Day, 180 hour Drive Time, 9300 mile road trip in my '23 Hybrid. Three people and a bed full. Went from NC across TN to AR-down to the coast of TX through OK- parallel to the southern US border through NM to Phoenix-up through AZ to Vegas-Vegas to Santa Maria...
I have had this one for about 8 years in three different vehicles. It has stood up very well to dobermans. I also purchased the door covers from WeatherTech for the Maverick. Great drool catcher...
Only place I could find them months ago. There is a note on this page that states " This shop is taking a short break."

Believe it takes more than a setting to get adaptive headlights. Seems that some sort of mechanism to move the light beam is needed as well. Don't believe the Mavs have that.
If you are accustomed to soldering and shrink tubing keep doing it. Crimp connector connections do not have the same integrity. Just recently I tried some heat shrinkable butt splices with solder included. Seemed to make a very secure connection.
Bed Cover- Lomax Diamond plate hard cover. Very happy with it. Easy install, lightweight, secure, near no leaks
Rear Logo Customized-Spray paint purchased from https://repaintsupply.com/ perfect match to Cactus Grey.
Front grille insert painted body color and logo customized-Thank you to...
After 5500 Miles since Sept. 1 my average is 36.81 mpg by my calculations. 27 mile one way commute with 20 of those miles expressway. No regard for driving style, I put it in Eco mode when I think about it. I have noticed this average dropping as weather gets colder. Last tank was 33.65 mpg.
From the Maverick Owners Manual:
LOW (L) - HYBRID ELECTRIC
VEHICLE (HEV)
In low (L) your vehicle decelerates more
noticeably than in drive (D) when the
accelerator pedal is released.
Note: We recommend using this mode for
driving on hilly or mountainous roads or
when towing a trailer.

jerrisn , As we say around here, fossil is funnin' you. Your hybrid shutters look like my hybrid and I didn't participate in the fire risk abatement engineering change . Nothing wrong there.
In my 50+ years of vehicle ownership including farm trucks I have never seen a spindle rot from rust. If you are concerned with appearance that's another issue. What your photos show is beginning surface oxidation. Yes, rust is oxidation. Relax, enjoy your truck. I don't know how old you are...
Bingo Green Lady- 500 mile range in my hybrid Mav. Cost per mile and of ownership a fraction of an all electric. With no worries about finding that empty charging station.
Ditto. The only thing I can see putting on the headlights is clear ppf film. Maybe that is not necessary with today's plastics but experience tells me I don't want to be sorry in 5 or 6 years.
