Jomise K17 4K with solid mount from ANSHILONG to replace the existing rear view mirror.
  2. First Post - I want to have navigation but don't want to connect my phone.

I believe I've got a working solution that I'm happy with. I've set up one of my old phones, a Samsung Note 8, with OSMAND (paid version) and removed any and all apps that I could. The Note 8 is not able to connect to the internet so that problem is solved. I paired the phone with the truck...
  3. First Post - I want to have navigation but don't want to connect my phone.

Jeff, I did a google search a little while ago and it said my Galaxy Note 8 didn't need an internet connection for the location feature to work. Location services uses the GPS satellites so I believe I can use my backup phone with Android Auto along with either Sygic GPS or OSMAND. So cell...
  4. First Post - I want to have navigation but don't want to connect my phone.

  8. First Post - I want to have navigation but don't want to connect my phone.

So no matter what the phone has to be connected to the truck whether it's with a cord or wireless dongle. I still have my previous Samsung phone (saved as a backup phone). From what I've been able to find out the gps location service will work on that phone even without an internet...

So no phone required? How does the navigation software get loaded onto the android adapter?
  10. First Post - I want to have navigation but don't want to connect my phone.

Hi, this is my first post. I bought my 2024 Hybrid XLT in early July and am loving the heck out of it. So far it seems to be a great vehicle. My problem is I am confused on how best to get navigation and music. My current setup is a TF card plugged into the USB-A port that I've loaded with...
