OP: you're CV axles need to be replaced. it's a very common issue. they'll be replaced with the same part, so expect the issue to occur again in the future.
those wheels are absolutely tragic. if this is the "street" version they should've at least taken a blow torch to those springs so it isn't jacked to the sky, ugh. hideous all around
not really. the trans oil pump is locked to one of the electric motors so it's always pumping when the motor is turning, the requirement is likely for the coolant heat exchanger portion of the trans. there is nothing inherently wrong with the two electric motors spinning while being flat towed
Anybody who doesn't change their 8f35's fluid at minimum every 40k miles is seriously asking for trouble. These trannys are already maxed out by the stock 2.0l ecoboost.
if the e-cvt wasn't offered in the maverick i would've bought something else instead of the ecoboost
