My needs are sporadic so I'd prefer not to drop $1000 on something I'd use 2-3 x's a year.
Has anyone found a decent unversal rack for the roof?
I'm looking to throw on of those clamshell deals up there for vacation.
Thanks
I find that the lens is often dirty and the view is obscured. My 16 F 150 had the lens integrated into the tailgate handle which is higher up and in 4 years I seldom had issues.
My hybrid build’s been scheduled for last week of the month and I figure it’ll be delivered for March. I’ve had my Ecoboost since early Nov and it’s been excellent. (I found it at MSRP at a local dealer).
Both are XLT LUX Pkg. My Eco is AWD as well. Part of me is intrigued by the hybrid...
Here are a couple of updates on my Trucklette Parmigiana. I wanted to do some paint protection before the winter arrives in earnest. I’ve been reading about ceramic coating but I don’t have the guts (or attention to detail) to go with the full blown coating which lasts 7ish years.. I...
I scored this on EBay. I had wanted to do a little tribute to the past and add a bit of whimsy
I snipped off the 2 little nipples and attached it with double sided tape.
Yes, to me, my Maverick represents an excellent value.
That said, as I get to know my trucklette more I see where Ford needed ensure they kept the reasonable price point.
The materials used in the interior are definitely a step down from the F150 I sold. And that’s ok, this isn’t a...
Got to use Trucklette Parmigiana as a real truck today. The load consists of ten 50 lb boxes of gym wipes.
Truck drove great. Little sag and the acceleration on Rt 95 felt effortless. Thoroughly impressed!

Perhaps some of you are in striking distance and want to join? If you’ve got yours, it’d be cool to get them together. If you haven’t seen one in the flesh, now you can.
Most of us here on the forum are enamored with our little trucklettes. I know I am. I'm loving mine.
So as I'm driving in to work, my head's on a swivel looking out to see if anyone is checking out my new hooptie.
Whether at a stop light or just putting along, I guess I was expecting to be...
So I pilfered this post from one of my motorcycle groups. It’s fun to see what everyone is up to. (Other than that poor SOB whose cousin totaled his)
today I got the front sides tinted to match factory
also added the tailgate assist.
@Dealerinsider invited us to his store to see this beauty in person and I took him up on it. Lariat, Lux, Eco, AWD in Iconic Silver. Essentially I ordered this in Alto Blue.
The build quality is there plain and simple. For the price point I just can’t think of a better value right now, so...
