The interior seems really quiet. Hardly any road noise. Just the engine buzz. Maybe the Lariat comes with a better firewall? No, I have not seen any hood shake. If it does, it’s slight and not noticeable.

I’m coming from a 2012 Edge. Visibility isn’t great on that either, but the Maverick is more noticeable to me. Valid question. The tint isn’t the issue, it’s more the physical obstacles (the 2 support pillars and the back headrest blocking nearly the whole back window.

I can attest. Last night I forgot the windows were even tinted. Hardly noticed. I have a 2012 Edge with the black interior and the same tint and it’s much more noticeable on that.

I had a 2013 Fusion with the 1.6 and don’t remember it ever being busy. To me, it’s just obvious. There’s the regular engine noise, the turbo noise, and then just a louder buzzing sound.
