Right! I know...that's why I told myself wtf no way...sadly it is a family shop. Maybe I would just do front myself and send my truck in for the rear to a shop somewhere else who have the stupid software device.
Yeah, you are right. I just found a thread about it. Pretty detailed - https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/brake-pad-replacement-process.33381/
I just don't want to pay overpriced labor and such. For example, one shop refuses to replace pads only without rotors because of insurance liability. That's before the labor...etc.
I am thinking about replacing my brake pads on both sides. However, it would be my first truck to do so. Is there anything that I should know beforehand...I mean, I replaced my old Subaru brake pads many times before. So I was just curious if anybody shares their experience with it. Many thanks!
I have to ask, why 1200? It seems to be too early...The first leg should have gone up to 5k miles. I just had my first oil change at 4500 miles. If you going to keep replacing your oil every 1200 then you would empty your pocket faster...
Newbie here,
A serious question for everybody who had hail damage in the past or currently. I am debating with myself whether should I pay out $250 before my deductible limit with a shop that averages 5-7 months of waiting for repair in the line with everybody and claim from insurance. OR...
DUDE...YES! My previous vehicle had a broken A/C for almost 3 years or more. So, I haven't a decent cold air throughout several summers includes 100 degrees ones. Until I got my Maverick recently and we had a few random hot days...I had a hard-on from just the cold air. It indeed blows pretty...
Same here! I loved my 2023 XL EcoBoost Maverick. I didn't have a chance to do a test drive before I ordered one. Yet, it fits like a glove when I drove it out of the lot!
Newbie here...As I read the 2023 manual for my 2.0 Ecoboost Maverick. I got a little confused with the fuel type statement because the manual said operates on an 87 octane type. Then said recommended top-tier type but mentioned that 91 or above is the best optimized one. While Google searches...
Does the location matters? I am at Denver, CO and the lady at the dealership said shipping can be from 1 week to 12 months. I was like wut? Give me a ballpark...does anyone know? I would like to sell my current car that's why.
Newbie here,
I do have a little hard time finding Maverick accessories other than Ford themselves. Do you have any good links to share? I would love to check them out. Right now, I'm more intrigued about getting a rack for my bed. And some for camping too, but since Maverick got a short bed...
