Traded in my Edge with non-truck plates, and they gave me B-truck plates.
Someone mentioned S10... fwiw... I had a 2003 S10 XL and was issued B-truck plates - recently sold the truck ($4k).

I've sort of solved this, by chance. I connected via Bluetooth, launched Audible, pressed play - no sound but shows up Book title, chapter, etc. on the Infotainment system. I check over the Audible settings and put it in "car mode" which essentially makes the Audible UI on the phone more...
I kept in contact, every few months. They didn't have much more info than what I was getting, but would share what they knew about others waiting.

I get it, fair question. I have the Nav package and wanted to be able to use the native Nav and not Google Maps via AA all the time. I listen to audio books mostly and the infotainment shows the info much better than on my 2017 Edge.
I also suffer from the notorious AA near random...
I paid $1,500 below MSRP.... but I'm a repeat customer trading in one of our two Ford's every 2 - 3 years, so I assume that helped. Been buying from the same dealership since 1987 (yes, I'm old).
I have to say via the cable w/Android Auto the sound is great. Even Sirus XM sounds good, compared to how it sounded on my 2017 Edge. I just wish I could get audio from a standard Bluetooth connection :mad:
When connecting via Bluetooth only, not wired connection, I have an issue where no audio plays. The media will show properly on the infotainment screen (be it YT Music, Audible, etc.) - just no sound. Adjusting volume on phone and/or vehicle has no effect.
Works fine when wired and using...
