For me it’s the other direction, my speedo says 70, when my gps says 67, which means the odometer reading is also more mileage than actually traveled, just a pain in the but
Thanks, I do know about this, but what I read from other posts, this will only affect the MTE calc and not do any recalibration to the speedometer, apparently these are two separate systems.
thanks for your response
I actually have the same 225/65/17’s but went with Goodyear Endurance instead of the Continental Pro contact. There actually is a measurable diameter difference with the Goodyear’s as they have greater thread depth than the Continental. Just enough to change the number of revolutions per mile. I...
Just curious, I have a 22 Hybrid and just replaced my tires and have a Speedometer difference of plus 3 mpg as compared to my gps reading. Did you have this experience after switching tires?
Thanks
I got my 2022 XLT Hybrid in Oct 2022. I now have 42000 odometer miles and I have flat towed it another 15k miles for a total of 57k road miles. I expect to make it to the end of this year and then will probably go with Michelin Defenders.
No real complaints with the Conti’s but I have always...
No issues, I now have 42k road miles and 15k tow miles on my 2022 XLT Hybrid, and have only done routine oil changes and tire rotations (still on the original tires). Only outside of this was one battery replacement which was free.
Love to drive this truck!!
I have a 2022 XLT Hybrid with the factory hitch and the rated 2000 lb towing capacity. My Mav has around 37000 miles and other the one new battery and all the recalls, it has been trouble free. I also use the Mav as my toad when we travel with our motorhome. So far, we have flat towed around...
I had the exact same thing happen to me on our last RV trip. As Dave said, disconnecting the battery for 10 or so minutes apparently resets the computer controller for the neutral tow setting. No problem since then. I have flat towed the Maverick close to 15k without anyother problems.
Safe travels
One other comment, looking at you pics again the tow bar connection appears to be on the inside of the safety chain connection. With the 1st gen setup I have a full 26 inch width between the tow bar connection. The tow bar connection is outside the safety chain connection. What does yours...
I bought and installed the 1st gen Roadmaster baseplate for my 22 XLT Maverick. After one year of towing, I have accumulated about 10k of tow miles. Never had a problem with turning radius or other issues, but yes, my lower shutters were removed. I have now driven the Mav in all seasons and...
I have a 2022 XLT, and I have been towing my Maverick for one year, about 10k miles. Never had a problem, the Maverick tows very straight and turns within the Motorhome footprint. I am extremely happy with my Roadmaster setup!!
Would highly recommend this setup!
