    I’m happy to report new fuel tank replacement took 4 days. I had a loaner, so I was not inconvenienced much at all. For a brand new, early manufactured unit not to bad.

    My truck was made 9/13/21 so an early unit. Yes, I took in for recall, they dropped the tank and said they’d have to get replacement from Ford.

    My Maverick XLT is getting its fuel tank replaced do to drill holes apparently made while installing the factory spray bed liner. Anyone have any experience with wait time? Dealer is telling me 3 days for replacement tank to arrive?
