Just got these for my 2023 Hybrid

Hi All - Is the brake update available through the normal dash software updates or does the vehicle need to be taken to dealer for this?

Has anyone found d rings with the exact measurement ~1.75” on center? Found the video with a keeper brand option but in chrome. Can someone start making those in black? Oem price point is fairly steep but haven’t found an Amazon with the right specs.

Yes it was fixed by dealer, they took of the windshield and re-sealed it.

Mine was same - they resealed the original windshield

After reading all these threads and finally convincing my dealer it was the winshield (thanks LilBuddy/gullzways for posting video and ensuing resolution) mine was fixed by them removing and then resealing the windshield. The windshield itself is still original just re-sealed.

Update - the dealer re-sealed the windshield and the rattle appears to be gone. Time will tell if it lasts. My sound was just like all of yours.

I have another appt tomorrow AM, suggesting (and hoping) it's just the windshield based on this thread. If they're able to verify they will replace it. Will keep updating...

Took mine in today they said A pillar, removed and reinstalled. The sound is worse. Has to be the windshield I’m convinced.

For anyone that privately messaged ford motor co, was there a resolution provided? The only solution I’ve seen posted is the new windshield and checking that the trim is correctly oriented. I pulled glove box out yesterday and nothing seemed to recreate noise. A pillar also seemed fine. Thinking...

For others in my situation, the price protection was not vin or order specific, I was indeed able to apply private offer rebate from a different dealer and different order/vin to the first maverick that arrived. Maybe I got lucky or had an awesome dealer (or both). Saved $2750 on my hybrid.
