I am at 53000 kms and have never rest the fuel economy screen, I have probably 15000 kms of towing my team drop trailer and lots of time on high elevation mountain roads getting to hiking trails and I have an average of 9 L per 100 or 26mpg ish
not sure what you mean by the roof not accommodating a universal rack, but I got a Thule roof rack over the cab works well for me and I think it looks good too
Has anyone bought a Mav with the manual seats and then bought a set of power seats to put in?
And if you have what did it cost you? And did you just order them from the dealership? Install yourself or have the shop do it?
Thanks in advance!
My ARE MX series topper came in and is installed, I got two LED light strips connected to the door so when the door opens the lights come on! Really looking forward to this upgrade and not having to tarp my stuff down in the box on long road trips where there may be rain, and the added security...
I recently picked up a small tear drop trailer for road trips and weekend get aways, and I must say loaded with gear and dogs and people and the trailer on with the flat out suspension with the overload springs I am very impressed with the performance, no issues towing no issues with handling...
Yea I plan to put bigger tires on when these ones wear out, the ride quality has honestly not changed at all, the rake is slightly closer to levelled I think itās a quarter inch closer than factory, but yea it still handles like an SUV no issues whatsoever
Mine is on 2inch lift on the stock set currently, I thought Iād hate it but I actually donāt mind it at all to be honest, I am going to get bigger ones when these wear down but Iām in no rush
Alright here is my 2022 XLT with FX4 and 4K tow, so far Iāve installed rokblok mud flaps, a Thule storage rack that typically had a cargo carrier on it and my ski holders (cargo carrier has been removed currently) and flat out gr lite suspension set at 2 inches of lift!
I have Boomba racing TB...
I attempted to do the install of my GR Lites with my dad at his shop and twice we tried and couldnt figure it out and then I took it to a shop and basically what was happening was when I took the springs out of the box I held them up to the OEM ones and turns out that just because the springs...
I do have the block heater, but Iām at 19000kms right now so like 12000 miles and all of a sudden itās just all leaking out and when I put water in to identify a leak it just pours from seemingly everywhere so that didnāt do much for me haha
Hmm well if that is the drain plug then mine is on nice and tight still which means something more serious must be going on down there! To the professionals it shall remain!
Oh I canāt even fill the reservoir without it instantly draining which is why I think itās just the drain plug, it is going to be towed to Kendall ford here in Bend after the long weekend I was just thinking if I could save myself some time and figure it out that would be nice but I donāt think...
Hello!
I am currently on a road trip vacation in Oregon, (Iām from Alberta, Canada) and coincidentally my FX4Mav has decided to purge itself of all the coolant and has subsequently left me stranded here just south of sisters, I have it schedule with my roadside assistance to get into a shop on...
Sounds good, I will inquire about the spacer swap, I did get the newer version of the TB spacer however I donāt even know if I have the gumption to install it since I have the FX4 with the skid plates š
Anyone experiencing an issue getting the manifold off? Thereās a bracket of some kind on the driver side that seems to be stopping me from getting the manifold off the block to get enough space to install the spacer
