Just wanted to update everyone. After DM'ing Ford here, Ford Customer Service called me and asked if I was still having issues. When I said yes, they asked if I was going to take it back to the dealership. I said it didn't make sense to do that since the dealership just told me they couldn't...
I picked my Maverick up today from the service center. No additional explanation or thoughts from them. I feel so discouraged. The Mav isn't fun to drive anymore. I'm seriously thinking about trading it in.
The service department called me yesterday and said nothing is wrong, the Maverick is just underpowered. I thought that was a really odd thing for them to say. Anyway, I responded that it didn't drive like this when I first got it or for the first 10k miles. He then talked about the transmission...
I'm having the almost the exact same issue. I notice it from about 35-48 mph or so when just lightly pressing the accelerator. It feels like it's just stuck in too high of a gear and kind of shakes along at too low RPM. The service department actually has my Mav now checking it out.

They said 5.5 qts. They verified through two different Ford sources and two aftermarket sources.
The dipstick is flat in the picture, but three different people at Ford checked it and saw it reading similar, showing 2-3 qts over.
5.5 qts.
They checked multiple sources for the amount.

I recently had an oil change at my local dealer. A couple weeks later, I noticed the oil life at least than 30%. Curious, I checked the dip stick to inspect the oil color in order to determine whether or not the oil had in fact been changed. I found this:
It had been changed, but looks like...
I finally got to put my Maverick to some good outdoor use. I've previously used it to haul stuff around my dad's farm and that kind of satisfied the itch to do something outdoorsy, but finally I got to take it on its first camping trip.
My two sons and I ventured up to the North Carolina...
