Update: the burning rubber smell is there only when the road is cover of melted snow mix with salt. I have more than 20k miles and no smell from the first miles until a couple weeks. this burnt rubber smell is new , i have my Maverick since june and this odor start maybe in november. 🤷‍♂️

I inspect every rubber insulator or rubber hose around turbo but i can't fin anything. still smell burn rubber after a couple minutes of drive. Dealer have found nothing too. i'am sure it's something around turbo where it's very hot. And if i stay at red light the smell come inside the cab :mad:

Same here when i open passenger door , but it's smell more burn rubber than oil. are you sure yours smell oil or more than burn rubber .

Maybe because i tow every day in summer enclose trailer 7x12 v-nose (3500 lbs) i dont tow in winter , so i gone wash top of transmission and keep an eyes on that . i gone check level too if overfilled.

Considering amount of vapor it's ok but i have puddle on top of the transmission.
