  1. Bedrug? Anyone else heard of these bedliners or had experience with them?

I put a full-size one (with the bedsides and all) in a Ram 1500 about 10 years ago, and loved the thing. Disappointed that they don’t seem to make the whole unit for the Maverick yet - just the mat. Hopefully they’ll come out with the entire bed liner soon.
  2. Is a Maverick order an obligation?

If there’s a nonrefundable deposit, an order is an obligation with a penalty in the form of the deposit. Not sure what OP means by ā€œafter it is delivered.ā€ If meaning delivered to the dealership, that has no effect on any obligation that might exist with a nonrefundable deposit. If you mean...
  3. Big Guy / Small Truck (Maverick) Review: Comfort & Ergonomics

I know this is an old post but just wanted to thank you. I’m 6’2ā€ and ā€œonlyā€ about 215 (which feels small in this thread!) but I also wear a 14 shoe. I had been generally concerned about whether the Maverick is just too damn small for me. I’ve stood outside one twice but haven’t actually had a...

  6. What amount of markup is tolerable to receive your truck immediately?

$0. I have a car. My car works. Happy to wait as long as it takes to get a Maverick for the fair price.
  7. Drop in bed liner installed better than expected!

For decades I’ve been reading internet myths about drop in bedliners causing severe paint damage from rubbing (to the point of ā€œrusting out the whole bedā€) but never once seen anything in person beyond some clearcoat hazing after years of hard use. I’ve been driving pickup trucks for 20 years...
  8. Cheapest available rims

    Ok thanks buddy.
  9. Cheapest available rims

thanks. Are there alloy options that fit the Maverick and are in that price range?
  10. Cheapest available rims

Is there a reason to be concerned about the offset disparity here, other than aesthetics?
  11. Cheapest available rims

I thought of this and looked at Facebook marketplace and Craigslist. Around here it seems the Maverick steelies are fetching a pretty high premium- like $500-600 for the set. I’ve seen lots of folks saying that Escape rims fit - anyone know what model years/generations of Escape? Thanks.
  12. Cheapest available rims

Sorry if this has been covered already - I tried to search but couldn’t find anything. I’m looking for the absolute cheapest set of rims available that fit the Maverick. Aesthetics are completely irrelevant to me on this issue - just looking for a spare set of wheels for snow tires. Cheapest I...
  13. Connecticut dealerships?

UPDATE: I just reached out to Valenti Ford in Stonigton, thanks to @Porvette ā€˜s recommendation, and they confirmed that they will honor MSRP for direct orders on 2023 Mavs. They were also the first dealer I’ve contacted who seem to be aware of reopening order banks. So I’m going with them for sure!
  14. Connecticut dealerships?

Thanks. I had some brief communication with them about ordering a Lightning a few months back, and based on those conversations I actually moved that reservation to a different dealer… but anyway, good to know that I haven’t gotten the wrong impression of them!
  15. Connecticut dealerships?

Thanks. Reasonable standard administrative fees are fine but I specifically don’t want to pay ā€œmarket adjustmentā€ or whatever other label dealers are applying to the practice of literal price gouging that seems endemic across the industry these days. Hammonasset Ford in Madison has a Lariat...
  16. Connecticut dealerships?

Hi everyone, I’m new here and this is my first post. Looking to order a 2023 XLT once order banks reopen in August, but I don’t want to pay any markup. Can anyone recommend a CT dealer that doesn’t do ADM on orders? I have spoken to a few in my area but there all either won’t answer the...
