I just swapped them for 19" Mach E wheels for looks. I just assumed the vibration was something like a damper or mount. After I swapped the wheels all the vibration is gone.
I actually had the same issue on my 22xl hybrid. I got new wheels and tires at 20k miles and the vibration went away. Safe to assume it was the crappy continental tires in my case.
It only adds about 200 pounds total in production so not very much weight. The 2025 Maverick hybrid awd powertrain is already being sold in for Europe vehicles and gets excellent fuel economy in the euro tests
Update : about 800 miles after the radiator replacement my engine coolant tank was below the minimum line and the oil is about a half quart low. It's back at the dealership awaiting diagnosis.
Well I was able to get get the car into a different Ford dealership. After 4 days they determined I needed a new radiator. However, I think that's an incorrect diagnosis since I looked everywhere and couldn't find a leak. It also doesn't account for the missing oil.
This seems like it's going...
That makes sense, but it is a new vehicle with a factory warranty so I was just planning on following the electronic meter schedule. Also, I did check the fluids when the engine was cold.
Just following the factory estimate that's calculated based on throttle input over time. I also have a 15 year old Nissan Xterra with 140k miles. For comparison I change the oil in that once every 10k miles and the average consumption over 4 oil changes is less than a 1/4 liter.
There's no evidence of coolant mixing in the oil so if it is a head gasket issue it would be on the intake side where it's being burnt instead of mixing.
I have a hybrid with 7600 miles on it so far. My washer fluid was low and I had a dash warning. While putting in new washer fluid I saw that the engine coolant tank was below the minimum level. I also checked the oil and saw it was at the bottom of dipstick. There were no signs of water in the...
I'm getting 24mpg highway pulling a 2000lb trailer on the highway with my hybrid. I also got 31mpg on a short 18 mile city trip which was pretty impressive.
