    At 90K, I'd be surprised at that much oil consumption: at 15K? No es bien! My Hyundais, at 200K, didn't use a quart/5000.

    Yep...I've had it from new, and yes, that is too high for a modern engine. I'm still trying to find out if it has steel liners, or is a Nikasil bore.

    I am now approaching my second oil change (third, really, since I did one at ~2000 miles), and with 15,000 miles on it, I'm concerned about it using oil. Modern engines just don't use oil and this one is: do these engines, which use an aluminum block, have steel liners, or are they a nikasil...
  5. 150 miles @ 75 mph, 29 mpg. No bueno.

    Recently I took mine on a 1500 mile trip on the highway, averaging around 75 mph on the highway, and it returned 33 mpg, just as Ford promised. Given that it gets a lifetime average of just around 40 miles per gallon, I have no complaints!

    Well.....it's not butt ugly, but I think I prefer the nose on my Mav better.
