I got my 22 hybrid wired for a 7 pin connection and use Curtis break system (live in OR ). Seems ok when pushing the max trailer and truck capacity . When i get my next Maverick i would differently get a tow package. Being nervous about the tow system is not worth it.

22 hybrid here. I've been towing a happy camper trailer. It is expensive but light.

22 hybrid, towing 1500 lbs trailer. No problem. Mileage about half . Avoid the fast lane and high speeds and you'll be fine.

I've been using the Happier Camper. Tows well and is light. Unfortunately it is s pretty expensive.

I use a Raceface halfsize. It fits two 55 lbs emtb and still allows me to use the backup camera. Loading them without dinging up the truck can be a challenge. Helps to have two people.

I had that problem on my 22 XLT. There was an error Code / Check engine light. It had to do with a vapor lock. It required a major repair (under warranty).

Same issue here. Covered under warranty, but it will take a few weeks before I could get it scheduled for repair.

After 8 months of waiting finally got my Maverick. It is a replacement for my 2005 Baja. I wasn't sure size wise how it would compare. See pictures.
