Finally filled up today. Overall average was 37mpg. The temperature where I live is somewhere close to blast furnace, so the AC has been cranking this tank. I believe that is affecting mpg more than tires.

Yes, it's a Werner universal from Lowes. I shortened the uprights 7" on mine. The black tabs slide and provide tie down points. If you look at my bed rail you'll see I put down 4' lengths of aluminum flatstock and set the rack on that. It helps distribute the weight on the cheezy plastic bed...

Update on the problem correction. 1" rough country level installed on the hybrid. Very easy install for any shadetree. Now to get the A/Ts to solve the other half and get the next camping trip scheduled.
