Another vote for the TNVTEC adaptor on Amazon. Worked perfectly on my XLT radio. Takes about 30 seconds to handshake every time I start the truck, but it's rock solid after that. Highly recommended.

Not taking it to the dealer. Just adding my info to the growing list. I did send the Ford rep who monitors this forum a private message with what happened and she did respond. I suggest we all do that so Ford has some idea that this is not isolated to one or two Mavericks.

Thanks for the phone number! I called today and I do have a VIN assigned now, but no scheduled build date. Does anyone know how long from VIN assignment to build date? When I put the order code and VIN in on the Ford site, all it says is order confirmed when the order was placed last summer.

All I have is an order number at this point. My dealer says my truck is scheduled to go into production in two weeks. I don't have a VIN. Is there any way to follow along with the build with just the order number? Thanks!
