Not really. I could afford $5k more on a spare car and it is much and feel safer in a F150. Safety alone is worth more than $5k. Not to mention a more powerful engine. The resale value should be better on a F150 and it should be easier to sell or trade. Once a tiny truck trend dies down, it will...
You are right. The price is now in the vicinity of a F150. A demo XLT FX4 could possibly be bought at $45k plus taxes and fees. There are many STX trim for less than $40k. I couldn't see myself spend $40k for a little truck while a more capable truck is $45k.
Maverick is small and offered in...
The 19 Ranger sounds expensive especially at 56k miles and your 22 Maverick only has 15k miles. Entry level loaner Rangers would be around low $30s. I have seen F-150 STX for high $30s and XLT for mid $40s. Those F-150 are 2k-4k mile loaners with 4WD.
I had both. I don't like neither of them. Ecoboost was ok but hybrid did not have enough power imo.
Have you considered a F150? I have been seeing F150 FX4 hybrid with towing package loaners for around $50k asking price (after $9k dealer discount, $3.9k discount on sticker, and $5k rebates)...
Congratulations! There is a restaurant inside the dealership. You can enjoy a quick meal there with your nice salesperson and his assistant. You can listen to a automatic piano while you are waiting. You can even play mini golf outside while you are waiting.
I only get 27 mpg between Odessa and Ft. Worth and the HB does not have enough power to do quick pass when it is climbing uphill or at a high speed on a flat ground. You will probably like your EB power. I miss my Hemi but not the 15 mpg part.
It is a custom order. That might be the reason why it has never been on the website. I am still communicating with him about another order and he told me that he has a Maverick available. I was even thinking about buying it and compare to my hybrid and see which one I would keep.
I heard that...
I appreciate that. Sewell even gave discount for my hybrid. Ask about S-plan to see if you are eligible. They also matched the trade in value and applied my private cash offer.
Really? They did not charge adm when I bought an abandoned hybrid. They told me they sold several abandoned EB without adm but first come first serve. I ran into two hybrids in town and the owners said that they purchased their Mavericks from Sewell without adm. Their fees were low hundreds...
