That's exactly what annoys me the most. I bought a new vehicle because I did want to worry if it would start every morning. Unfortunately, my Maverick has not left me with that trust.

Exactly like mine, but worse. Mine would rev up to around 3-4k for a second it two, then finally catch and drive mostly normal after it.

That's exactly what mine is doing now. If I'm on side streets, it's bad. Normal acceleration is better.

****Final Update**** Got the truck back yesterday. They replaced the transmission with a new one. They did not mention what was wrong, but stated Ford wanted the transmission to look into. To me, the first three gears do not feel right, still. I'm hoping I'm being over sensitive to the truck...

UPDATE I just got off the phone with the dealership, Ford is going to replace the entire transmission. The service advisor also stated that they have another Maverick in the shop with the same issue

I got a call from the dealership today. They said they have a Ford bronco in the shop with the same transmission that is doing the same thing. He also had stated that a Ford technician will be out on Monday to analyze the transmission before they start working on it.

Will do! Service advisor at the dealership asked if he could test drive it to see if he could duplicate the issue. He drove it through the exit door, and right back into the shop. He got out of the truck and said, yup, that's messed up. He said it's the first Maverick in the shop.
