I too have an alto blue 22 XLT Hybrid. Took delivery in January. I have chips as well. I also reported an incident whereas I pulled the wipers off windshield, turned the key to listen to the radio and the wipers auto returned and peeled the paint of the edge of hood. No sharp edge on the wiper arm.
I learned recently the hard way. I left my wipers pulled back from windshield. I turned the vehicle on and whooosh, scratch Yikes!!
Peeled the paint off the hood edge like it was butter. I had know idea an auto feature such as existed. I think it sucks big time!!
With Reluctance I've dropped off my mav for the recall to replace the side curtain airbags.
The service rep advised the interior is gutted, to what extent?? Not sure. Hope all goes well and no nasty surprises of rattles and scratches and other issues.

I typically drive without the need of turning on hi-beam. Its always from cars not SUV or Truck.
Is it the location of lights? I thought headlamps were aimed in such away to reduce glare/intensity for on coming vehicles?

NO cutting!! The air flow louvers down low were removed.
the install included all wiring/diodes back to taillights and prep for the roadmaster braking system
I think It was around $1000. I also had them run a wire to charge the battery.
