2023 XLT hybrid w/ comma.ai box
170 mile highway drive @ 68.5 avg speed with a 95% adjustment already added to reduce truck calculated/displayed mpg.
Atkinson engine really performs in hot temps, a/c ran the whole time at 2 amps running (give or take). Compare that to my wintertime temps...
I'm hearing rumblings of a complete stop sale on 2025's thru the 3rd quarter. Nothing official anywhere. Anyone have any information on if true or not?
My Maverick XLT chimes every single time I increase speed through 73 mph. It's NOT MyKey related (ie there are not MyKeys associated with the vehicle). I have deleted all speed reminders and such.
This happens regardless of local speed limit sign postings.
I cannot figure out why it is doing...
I'm interested in monitoring my engine and transmission temps, battery temps, and whether the a/c is engaged or not. Why? Because it's interesting and I know the a/c kicks on randomly when Ford thinks it should, but I'd like an indication it's on, personally.
I purchased, for only the 3rd time...
I know the green wire on the bottom of the fuse panel inside is switched 12v but I cannot figure out how to remove it from the panel itself. It pulls out with a tab but both wires come out in the socket.
I'm installing this:
This is going to run my ACC/adaptive cruise, interior lighting, and...
PDF and .docx uploaded below, just some sample pages.
I keep it in a 3-ring binder in plastic sleeves, along with all my records (oil purchases, warranty fixes, window sticker, etc).
I recommend anyone using this to go through the owners manual and determine if everything is accounted for, so...

I have a '23 hybrid, and drive a normal highway route of 180 miles @ 70-75 mpg. My average speed is around 74.
Did it today, first time in cold temps (28°F weather) and got 27 mpg. Normal is 35-36 over the summer months. Keep in mind tire pressure was ~40 on all four (just filled them prior to...
I don't understand this. I've babied this battery, plugging it into a maintainer anytime it's sat more than a day in my garage.
Everything was fine prior, I left on a six day trip and:
Plugged in a Noco Genius 5
Disabled all telemetry
Locked truck
Placed key inside house in faraday cage pouch...
I decided to pull this out from a thread because it might get buried, and has some fascinating information in it.
So I did some digging, turns out there is a fantastic fairly new Youtube channel testing oil filters using some pretty good criteria, Brand Ranks. This compared numerous higher and...
@blackb13 made a post about using Ada 1626 LEDs for ambient lighting. I bought some and noticed while playing around with them that they are very fragile, so elected to construct a housing for them.
While doing so I also wanted my ambient lighting to be easily modified, so I created a "power...
EDIT: Possibly due to Rain-X on windshield
I've had my Maverick a year but it only has 3000 miles on it. Has been garaged 99% of its life outside those 3000 miles. Driven in rain maybe 4x total using wiper blades sporadically (Rain-X ftw). SE USA.
Wiper blades still look brand spanking new and...
Hello,
Does anyone have an easy to edit logbook of sorts to use? This is my first new car, and first time I'll be a stickler for the factory schedule.
My Toyota had one that was every 10k miles IIRC, and included what you had to do each 10k.
Curious, does anyone have a good schematic for the HVAC system? In a previous car the model years started off pulling in unfiltered outside air across the evaporator which resulted in all sorts of buildup necessitating the replacement of evaporators. After about a decade someone developed an...

Was vacuuming out mine today and was using a Ridgid 18v shopvac. It comes with an ABS plastic attachment for small skinny spaces, so I was using it between the seat and door to pick up fluff.
I **** you not, the mere act of moving the plastic piece along the carpet *lightly* rubbing the trim...
@EONR24
I applied the lane keep assist mod with the new stalk and no longer have the "after trip report" you get when turning the vehicle off.
Any thoughts?
