  1. Florida Three XL wheels and tires.

I have three stock steelies with tires left after using one for a full size spare. If you're willing to pick up in Panama City and want to ditch the donut they are free for the taking. Have the donut too if anyone wants it.
  2. Full size spare wheel swap (from Bronco Sport)

I just put Bronco Sport wheels on my XL and here is what I had to do to use a factory steelie and 225/65R17 as my spare. There is a bracket to prevent the spare from shifting forward. The space between that bracket and hitch was just slightly too small to fit the full size. (I believe if you...
  3. Florida Sold: XL Steelies, tires, tpms

  4. First time hybrid camping

Inaugural camping trip with the Hybrid. It was loaded to the gills with equipment and water, as the campsite I use is remote. Averaged 36mpg with the weight and yaks acting as sails. The hybrid handled tame forest roads great. Biggest takeaway from the trip is the Continentals suck. They don't...
  5. 2.8 mile commute best MPG

I have a short 2.8 mile commute. Speed limit is 35 with four lights on the route. This is my best so far, and I was doing the speed limit. This was done in Normal mode, not Eco.
  6. First fishing trip with 11.5 ft Crescent CK1 Kayak mounted

Kayak is a Crescent CK1, 11.5 feet long. Didn't catch a thing but it was a great day on the water.

  8. XL bed outlets and light installed

This is my cheap USB/12V socket and bed light solution. Panel, switches, and light all from amazon. The socket panel originally had a voltage display, but I removed it and added a switch. One switch for both outlets, and one for the light. The light required a little trimming to fit as the...
  9. Hybrid first road trip MPG

Did my first road trip in the XL Hybrid this weekend. I left Panama City, FL and traveled to Ocala, then down to Bradenton. Filled up in Plant City on my way back north. This trip was mostly 65+ mph. At my refuel the dash was showing 41 and math at the pump confirmed 40.5 for the tank. I did...
  10. Werner TR701-A rack modification for Maverick

I just joined the forum, but haven't seen anything on the universal Werner rack from Lowe's. I purchased it for $369 and modified it to fit. In standard form it was way too tall. I used a metal blade on my miter saw and cut 7 inches off the bottom of the uprights, then used the scrap as a...
