Well my truck is now in production. I have the vin and window sticker. Hopefully within the next 3 to 4 weeks they will get it to the dealership. We've seen delays while in production and shipping so who knows at this point.

Any Maverick produced prior to May 13, 2022 could potentially have this issue. Some say it's just a matter of time. I have 20,000 miles on mine and it's hasn't done it thus far.

I have found they don't list absolutely every option. They will list an equipment group and that is where many items are, but not listed individually.

Just hit 20,000 miles and I've had ZERO issues whatsoever. Gave it a good cleaning this weekend. Even looked under it as I've seen many videos where the underside has lots of rust. I found very minimal rust and my muffler is still shiny and has no discoloration or holes in it. Overall happy...

That is rather odd. But if the ignition won't turn on then clearly this is something electronic, but the thumping makes no sense.
