Go poke around on the hot pepper red club thread, you'll see plenty. My truck got scheduled, won't see it for several months, but I already have black letters for it. I think the black on the back picks up the dark trim, the bumper, looks like it belongs, IMHO, of course.
I agree, like them both, if it weren't for my want/need of a hybrid, I'd have sprung for a SC. Good friend has one, he's laughed his ass off at me for a year, waiting for my truck to get scheduled. Who's laughing now, huh? :p See ya' when you get back from the gas station!
But this is the...
I'll eventually buy Weathertech or some such $$ set, but for now I'm just going to buy these:

Still too big for me. I must be getting old or something (I am, undeniably), but I want to open a door and sit in a truck, not CLIMB into it. Geeze. That's something Ford got right with the Maverick, and why it is so appealing to us of the, ahem, "more mature" generation.
I'm curious if anyone who has done this install has REMOVED the side pockets, and done the cutout in such a way that you then reinstall the pocket AFTER the liner is in, essentially pushing it into/against the liner? That, to my eye, seems a "cleaner," more custom look? Is it even possible...
Surprised on the seat comment, I've heard others say that it was quite comfortable even over long distances. My XLT will replace a 14-year-old Ford ranger, produced before seat springs were really a thing, so the Maverick will only be an improvement. 😆
Don't lose heart -- I did the same, a hybrid HPR, nothing else, on the same logic that it would get me scheduled sooner/soonest. It didn't -- I just got scheduled yesterday, after 8 months. You'll drive yourself crazy playing the head game of who got scheduled with what configuration, could I...
I had the Cross on my short-list, but quickly discovered it was just as difficult to obtain as a Maverick. Local dealers were just taking names and putting you in line. Like I said....car buying world has just changed. Different rules now....
You do realize there is no such thing as a stout right now? So far it's all clickbait, I wouldn't expect to see one here for a couple of years minimum, assuming you're in the states.
Honest question, because the few times Ive talked to Ford live, not chat, I always called Customer Service. Is there a difference or advantage to calling Marketing?
I have generally liked Tacos, but thought their design needed a massive re-fresh, but gotta say...not a fan of this Transformers look. Plus, as others have noted, no way this is competitively priced. Could change my tune if the Stout comes out, but I imagine that's a 2025 fantasy at best.
