  1. Ford Textured Hood Protector Installed on the Tremor

Yeah, I left a little metal hood exposed under the leading edge of the protector so when opening the hood, the protector wouldn't take that lifting load. Certain that various Fast Lane techs at my Ford dealership would likely do so when I take it there for the future Ford points oil changes.
  2. Ford Textured Hood Protector Installed on the Tremor

Thanks Ford points! Kinda surprised how hard it was to clean up the exposed prep agent necessary for the install, but a bit of elbow grease & spray detailer prevailed.
  3. Save the Dash Cubby!

A top-load cubby from Ford would have made more sense
  4. Any 2024 Maverick issues?

Ellijay here. Helen, despite the touristy thing, has been surprisingly pleasant. Regarding the original post, my 24 has been great at the 4000 mile mark. I really enjoy its features, ride, and abilities...while averaging 25.2 mpgs. Very capable up in the GA mountains! My biggest complaint...
  5. Any 2024 Maverick issues?

Where in the GA mountains? I was just up there at my cabin for a week with my 2024 Terrain Tremor.
  6. Blown Around on Highway - Or Just Me?

I just returned from my north Georgia cabin vacation last Saturday. Central Georgia was a wind tunnel and my Tremor got pushed around to the point where I had death grips on the steering wheel and my crotch. The crosswinds across I-75 were significant and not to be underestimated at times, but...
  7. Picked up yesterday!

My 2024 Terrain Tremor certainly doesn't have the quietest drivetrain, but it seems to have quieted a fair amount at the 2400 mile mark. Ride is excellent, road manners are fantastic (currently on a vacation from Tampa to Ellijay, GA), a little off-roading here in north Georgia has proven this...
  8. Terrain color photos?

Surprisingly beautiful, subtle color. I was unsure about it too before going to buy my 2024Tremor, but in person, it's very nice. It works very well with the surrounding black accents.
  9. EGR In-channel Vent Window Visor Review

Yes, I did mean the "EGR" visors, not ESG. Just did a search yesterday and saw some bantering back and forth about ESG, so I accidentally chose the wrong name from memory. Hey, when you're 60, letters and numbers get confusing!
  10. EGR In-channel Vent Window Visor Review

Wanted to post about the installation of the in-channel vent visors I just completed on my 2024 Terrain Tremor: PROS - excellent fit - easy installation - they look great (IMO, of course) - quality "smoke" plastic - fresh air introduction into the cabin - they do slow down the window a little...
  11. Parking Brake Sets Sometimes

I've been trying out the turning off the key method to set the Tremor into park, and I've noticed that sometimes the parking brake will also set using this method, and other times it won't. Is there something programmed into the system that detects the truck on a slight slope or hill that makes...
  12. New 2024 Maverick Tremor Owner

Not sure I can go there. My youngest used to call his ding-dong a "TT" when he was very young.
  13. New 2024 Maverick Tremor Owner

I gotta say, I kind of like them. Adds a bit of character to a one-color hood. Thought I read on a Ford products page that all 2024 Tremors are slated to get them, while also offering a stripe delete option...
  14. New 2024 Maverick Tremor Owner

Decided to trade my 2020 F-150 in an effort to downsize my life at 60, so I found this well-equipped Tremor XLT beauty in Terrain from Ferman Ford in Clearwater, FL. Looking forward to participating here on these forums...
