Al The keys that would work are transponder keys that would be paired with the vehicle they just wouldn't have a fob... But what I was referring to in the original post was just something to unlock the door so I could get to my secondary key if the battery were dead or some reason the keypad on...

What if the 12v car battery is dead? Isn't that what open the door lock?
