Why clean behind it? I just can't see that being a regular thing. Maybe one every few years but then why not just replace the plastic rivets? Here is a kit from Harbor Freight that I used which worked well and contains extra plastic rivets...
Yes, they are actually a tad looser than I’d like. I’d like to be able to hang them on the pinch weld and then move the lift up to meet them. Otherwise positioning is kind of a pain. I’ll probably use some sort of tape or something to fill the gap a bit more.
Would recommend buying and using their pinch weld blocks (or similar knock-offs for cheaper) instead https://www.quickjack.com/accessories/pinch-weld-blocks/
Which one is the OEM Ford Filter? I searched Walmart's site and didn't see anything that appeared OEM-like. I bought the extended warranty so don't want to give Ford any chance of an easy way out.
Agreed. If the XL/XLT original turn signal switchbacks are too bright, they did come out with new ones that aren't so blinding:

The basic answer I've found is no. If you're the creative type, you might be able to get it to work with an in-bed tonneau but it's going to very tight and probably not work at all.
Mine looks the same; I was confused as well. Tempted to enable rock/crawl and baja haha but don't want to brick anything.
Thinking it's a MY23 change or Forscan update. Forscan update is more likely I think.
Sorry I didn’t take a pic. 18 gauge stranded wires from factory which is the smallest the wago inline connectors are rated for. Yes, the connectors are a bit large but not huge. The inline connectors are required as there is just enough factory wiring.
So I just received my truck and the ppf is pretty thin but still nice to have. Not sure how to tell the brand. PPF was applied pretty good but doesn't have that attention to detail a professional shop would. No bubbles or anything but the front cover by the headlight doesn't entirely cover...
Decided to skip the wait and wired it in with wago inline connectors. Just be sure to cut a little higher so the plug can still make the bend to plug back in.
As one of those 22->23MY roll overs, let me be one more of many to thank you for not taking new customer 23MY Maverick orders. That allowed all of the 2023 Maverick orders to be filled without any 24MY rollovers.
Did I mention what a great dealer Granger Ford is?
