On my XL hybrid I put the key in and turn it the same amount of clicks as any other car and there’s even a little movement for where you used to hear the crank. Now, it just says “ready”. It’s a little odd at first if you’ve never owned a hybrid.

Changed my oil at 3000 miles as well. It’s incredible how tight they put on that filter from the factory!!

Here are some stainless steel M8 eyelets I bought off Amazon, they work great!

(To be clear, the m6x100 holes don’t need to be drilled, just tapped with an M6 tap)

If you are cutting 2x4’s to make a second bed layer, cut them to 55”….I would suggest chamfering the edges.

Been working on the maverick XL bed and wanted to let you know that the upper “flex” rails are pre threaded and are M8x1.25. The other anchor points require a tap (M5 drill bit) and use an M6x1.00 bolt.
